IzzyIf you’re an avid Potterhead, there’s a high chance you’ve looked for Harry Potter playlists at least once or twice. At least. But…look no more! We’ve rounded up a small bunch of 10 Harry Potter playlists for you to enjoy anywhere…with Wi-Fi. Also, we’ll be posting a bunch of other articles pertaining to ‘character playlists’ which is playlists themed around a specific character, (hint: 1st one will be Hermione Granger!)
These playlists alternate…either you get HP movie soundtracks or character playlists or HP-themed (or sounds like) background music or HP podcasts or songs etc etc… We’ve tried to alternate as much as possible to make sure it’s not duplicates of the same soundtrack.
Without even further ado…let’s replay some songs!
1. Harry Potter Ambiance
Ah…nothing better than a ‘fun’ activity and some relaxing yet somewhat chilling HP ambience…one of the dreams of many, and I tell ya, many, Harry Potter fans. You’ll find multiple songs from the soundtracks of multiple HP movies but not all. It’s a pretty long playlist, so you can spend hours listening to different songs. But if there’s a song you particularly like (we recommended ‘Dumbledore’s Army’ by Nicholas Hooper) then we recommend you add it to a playlist, as to not lose it.
Recommended for people who like: Hermione/Harry/McGonagall/Dumbledore/Snape/Narcissa

2. Reading HP by the fireplace
This is great for reading HP and also in general. If you search HP playlists on Spotify it’s mainly soundtrack playlists so it’s hard to find one that has different songs, but this one’s pretty nice! We came across some gems later on but we recommend this one for Potterheads and music-lovers in general because it’s likely you’d at least find one song you like….likely, but we hope so!
Recommended for people who like: Ron/Ginny/Luna/Neville/Harry/Sybill/Snape/Molly

3. Harry Potter Winter Study Playlist
Although it’s a mix between soundtrack, classical + other it’s a really nice study/meditation/general playlist and I would recommend to any one whose favourite character is Hermione/Luna or Neville. The actual name of the playlist is ‘winter harry potter study aesthetic’ but we changed it up a bit to make it seem a bit more lucid and to just get the big picture. Anyways, we hope you enjoy this playlist and it’s actually one of the best on the list!

4. Study Like Hermione Granger
If you’re a Hermione fan, or like studying, or have to study, or just want to listen to a nice playlist, then this one’s for you. I recommend it for people who like calm, background music too because this is a great playlist to play in the background whilst keeping busy with something else (i.e. drawing and listening.) The singer and music genres alternate a lot and so once you’ve heard it all you can choose your favourites and stuff! We hope you enjoy this one, too!

5. Playlist for Ravenclaws
THIS IS A SHOUT OUT TO ALL YOU WITTY RAVENCLAWS!!! YEAH!!! Enjoy this Ravenclaw-themed playlist with your daily life because it’s about to get SMART up in heeeeere! Anyways, even if you’re not a Ravenclaw I recommend this playlist because overall it has a nice mixture of songs by alternate singers. If you search ‘ravenclaw’ on Spotify there’ll be a whole bunch of playlists if you don’t like this one. But we hope you do!
Recommended for people who like: Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, Chamber of Secrets, Luna/Cho/Xenophilius/Filius/Ollivander/Rowena/Moaning Myrtle/Hermione/Neville

6. Playlist for Slytherins
For any Slytherin, or fan of a Slytherin character, or music fan in general, this playlist will entertain and maybe even open up. The genre fluctuates a bit going from dream pop to gothic but it still blends well together and seems pretty ‘Slytherin-y.’ Would recommend!
Recommended for people who like: Deathly Hallows, Chamber of Secrets, Goblet of Fire, Snape, Draco, Narcissa, Lucius and Harry.

7. Playlist for Hufflepuffs
For any Hufflepuffs, Hufflepuff likers (…) or Potterheads! It includes sunny, happy songs that Hufflepuffs might like (not guaranteed…sadly), we can get a review from a resident Hufflepuff, @monica to tell us what she thinks. And you can also rate it out of 5 or just say what you think in the comments.
Recommended for people who like: Hufflepuff, Mrs.Sprout, Nymphadora (sorry…I meant Tonks) Cedric, Luna, Ron, Weasley Twins aka Fred and George Weasley, Molly and Neville.

8. Playlist for Gryffindors
If you’re a Gryffindor, enjoy boss music or like chill/upbeat tunes, then this playlist is for you! From Lorde to Nirvana, this ‘Gryffindor-y’ playlist is perfect for all Potterheads, even if you aren’t a Gryffindor. You’ll also find some hints of Lana Del Rey and Khalid every now and then just to add to Gryffindor’s picturesque vibes. Gryffindor is prominent for its signature bravery and loyalty and thus some of these songs reflect that, too. We recommend for anyone, actually. Enjoy this edgy HP playlist 🙂
